Sexy Heroes

We set out to create our own style of music in order to put fun and originality back into the music world.
Coming from extremely different musical backgrounds, our influences range from Broadway to Nofx, from Reel Big Fish to Pink Floyd, so nothing is out of our reach.We have our own unique style of fun, upbeat punk/ska. A rare find in the unoriginal music world of today.

We write songs about nontraditional topics, whether it be nostalgia, pop icons, or just an interesting story. We’re always looking for new and interesting topics to write songs about. Our latest include Robert Downey Jr, and Jurassic Park.
We consider ourselves a live band. We have such an energetic engaging live show, that even if people start off skeptics, by the second song they are rocking out and singing along with us.

We started as a three piece, just for fun. Then after a while we decided to try and make a career from it. So we got another guitar player and a new drummer, which gave us more power and diversity than your average band.
We won The Break Contest and played the Main Stage of Bamboozle in May 2009.
We recently won a competition called America’s Next Great Star, and have opened for many well known acts including, Bayside, The Bloodhound Gang, Fall Out Boy, New Found Glory, Cash Cash, The Aquabats, and Catch 22.
