We’re playing at the Paramus VFW on December 20th, and if you come to that show, you will get a free ticket to our show at Starland Ballroom on January 9th. That’s a pretty good deal if you ask me, two shows for the price of one. Nice!

Hey everyone!

Two weeks ago we were in a competition called America’s Next Great Star. It was held at Rockland Community College. There were all kinds of acts including and Elvis Impersonator! Click the link above to check out their website and see pictures of all the acts.

We wanted to send out a big thanks to those of you that came out to the show and helped us win. We walked away with $500, and our performance was filmed and has the chance to get into important hands.

Hey everyone.
Chris here, thought I shouldn’t waste any time before explaining. A few things have happened recently with Sexy Heroes.

In the past few days, Gerry and Drew, our bass player and drummer for the past six months, both decided that being in a full time band was not something they wanted to do at this point in time. Drew is moving on to play with a bunch of different musical projects.
It’s sad for us to see them go. It felt like such a short time, well because it was, 6 months. Me and Mike have been doing this band for four years, and Nick for the past two and a half.
So we shall say goodbye to those guys and start looking for another drummer, or perhaps work with a few different drummers.

Me, Mike and Nick are the songwriters in Sexy Heroes, and have often time written songs with different drummers. In Fact, Hero Sandwich is made up of songs written with Fish, Eric Deraney, and Drew at the drums.
I say that only to let you all know that the core of Sexy Heroes is still here and will always be going strong.
Thanks for supporting us and Eric Deraney or “DJ ED” will be playing the next few shows with us.

Literally, we practiced the set today a couple times. And we will play it at the show tomorrow at The Bogota VFW. Come check it out if you live around the area. The set sounded tighter today than it has in a while. Perhaps the loss of a member is just more motivation to play our best, but we are all in extremely high spirits and can’t wait to play a great set tomorrow night.

Well as quick as we got a bassist, we lost a bassist. Gerry decided that pursuing the life of a musician was not for him and is no longer a Sexy Hero.
Alas, do not fret! I’m going to play bass again, at least for a while. So all will be fine in the Sexy Heroes world.

Sorry I haven’t written in a few days, since I lost wrote we:
Had a photo shoot, Met with some potential Managers, Played a party, and even started talking care of a Bearded Dragon. (irrelevant but cool)
Hope you’re all doing well. and Hope to see you at the SHOW ON FRIDAY AT THE BOGOTA VFW. We’re headlining the show and playing with bands like… A Love Like Pi, The Front Bottoms, Hungry Tigers, and more. Come check it out. It’s gonna be a blast. First show back on bass… THE PRESSURE!!!! haha

JERSEYSTOCK DAY 3

Howdy y’all we’re playing tomorrow night at the Paramus VFW at around 7. If you are planning on going, I’d get there around 6:30 just in case set times get moved around or whatnot.
It’s going to be an awesome show. We haven’t played anywhere around here since Bamboozle, so we hope to see you all out there.

We’re gonna be playing a really cool cover song that everyone knows. No, it’s not Bad Touch, you’ll have to come see to find out, or wait for a youtube video.

Can’t wait to have fun with everyone at the VFW tomorrow!!

What’s Good???
Drew says that a lot. I always wonder whether he’s asking what good means, or asking me to tell him some things that are good. Either way, I guess it doesn’t really matter. Haha.

Anyways….

Last weekend we had a show at The Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown PA. The show was set up by Fetzer Entertainment, a really cool bunch of guys, that do some really cool things. Check them out. http://www.myspace.com/fetzerentertainment

The show was a ton of fun, and we met a bunch of cool new people. So big thank you to everyone who was there for our first time in Pennsylvania. Can’t wait to come back soon.

Well howdy guys and gals.
I just want to start off by commenting on the great weather we are having. It’s perfect BBQ weather so if you haven’t had one yet, then shame on you!…you really should get on that.
Also, Sexy Heroes are playing at the Crocodile Rock cafe in Allentown, PA tomorrow at 8:30pm.
We will indeed be playing a song (maybe two….oh yeah!) that we haven’t played live for about two years!…so it will def be worth the trip to experience the never-heard-before-but-totally-kick-ass songs! No joke or lie.
